Travelling as a young couple from Sydney our stay at Residenza dei Pucci made our visit to Florence all the more enchanting. Our hostess Rossella and her co-worker were very friendly and helpful. On both nights we stayed in the city, Rossella made bookings for us at nearby restaurants as the city was in peak tourist season (mid july) and most restaurants were full. The room we stayed in was neat, tidy and very stylish with beautiful furnishings, high ceilings and thick walls The bathroom was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is everything you would ask for, not noisy at all yet still in the heart of Florence, a 2 minute walk away from the Duomo and 5 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio. The Italian (sweet) style breakfast in the morning was excellent - lots of little cakes, strudels, croissants, toast, jams, yoghurt and good coffee. We had hired a car from Rome and were able to drive into the city to have the car parked at a nearby garage for 22 Euro a day, quite convenient and cost effective considering the city blocks of traffic at certain times of the day. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're travelling through Florence.

The stay was great, the staff was wonderful and very helpful! Also the location is perfect, in the heart of florence and close to main things to do. Would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone.
One minus was the breakfast - very Italian, only cake and some cereals. The room where the breakfast was served was too small.

The hotel staff was very nice and gave us good tips on Firenze (great ice-cream place !) and the location is perfect, almost at the foot of the Dome.
It is quite complicated to reach it by car (even with the help of a gps) and very difficult to get a temporary parking spot to drop the luggages. But someone comes when you check in and takes the car to a garage (paid) so you don't have to worry for it for the duration of your stay.

B&B Residenza dei Pucci is an excellent place to stay in Florence. My wife and I spent 4 nights there on our recent trip. The location is unbeatable, and the concierges, Mariana and Rossella, are incredibly helpful (thanks again for everything you two)! Definitely recommend this place to all looking for a place in Florence!
